Is Bite Beauty Cruelty-Free?
Bite Beauty has confirmed that they are cruelty-free.
They don’t test their ingredients or final products on animals, and they don’t sell their products where animal testing is required by law.
Bite Beauty is certified cruelty-free by PETA.
Is Bite Beauty Vegan?
Bite Beauty reformulated all of their products in 2020, so they are now 100% vegan. In the past, none of their lip products were vegan because they contained beeswax, lanolin, or carmine, but they have removed all of those ingredients from their products.
Here is a statement on the Bite Beauty website about becoming 100% vegan:
“Our reason to go vegan was simple-we’ve evolved. We can create high-performance formulas without ingredients that come from animals. As we’ve been innovating with superfoods, we’ve learned we can get amazing results that perform on par with – if not better than-formulas that contain animal byproducts.
Further, we wanted to create products everyone can love-including people who crave clean, cruelty-free, and vegan beauty.”
