They don’t test their ingredients or final products on animals or sell them where animal testing is required by law.

Dove may have some vegan products but they are not clearly labeled on their website, and they did not let us know which products are vegan.

Is Dove Sold in Mainland China?

Dove does sell some products in Mainland China, but they are products that are not required to be tested on animals

Generally, animal testing is required by law in China for all foreign cosmetics companies. All American and European cosmetic brands that are sold in China must undergo animal testing.

Even products that can bypass mandatory tests may still be pulled from the shelves by Chinese authorities to be tested on animals.

Dove confirmed that they are no longer importing products into China that would require animal testing, and if there were to post-marking animal tests required, Dove would withdraw the product instead of having it submitted for animal testing.
