Is Flamingo Cruelty-Free?
Flamingo has confirmed that they are 100% cruelty-free. They don’t test their ingredients or final products on animals, and they don’t sell their products where animal testing is required by law. Flamingo does not have any third party cruelty-free certifications.
Is Flamingo Vegan?
At the time of writing this post, the only Flamingo product that isn’t vegan are the wax strips because they contain beeswax. They may add additional non-vegan products in the future, so make sure you always read the ingredient list!

Email to the Company
Before classifying any brand as cruelty-free and vegan, I send them an email with the following questions:
- Are your products vegan? If only some are vegan, which ones?
- Are any of your products or ingredients tested on animals?
- Do you have a Leaping Bunny or PETA certification?
- Do your suppliers or any third parties test animals on your behalf?
- Does your company sell products in mainland China (except Hong Kong)?
- Are you owned by a parent company that tests on animals?
This is how Flamingo responded to my email:
I’m glad you reached out about this! Being cruelty-free is important to us too. While we do not currently have these certifications, all of our products are cruelty-free and have never been tested on animals. Everything is vegan aside from our wax strips, which do contain beeswax.
We currently do not sell our products outside of the US and Canada. Additionally, our parent company, Harry’s Inc is also cruelty-free and their products have also never been tested on animals.
